Message from the Auto Industry

Guess this about says it all.
Happy Saturday to one and all, and to all an empty pocketbook!
Or at least that would seem to be the message from the Auto Industry.
As for me, I just wish you a great weekend!

  1. the thing about the auto bailout that is really starting to upset me is the attitude by Congress that the unions need to give back so much

funny how they didn't feel that way when they handed billions to banks who then went about buying up each other and creating their incestous post of gold

  2. I know, I feel exactly the same -- guess I'm generally pissed off at all of them, but the bank mess is by far the worst and, of course, why not take it out on the unions??? or at least that seems to be what they're doing.

  3. Well, frankly, I think the unions might give back somehting. BUT, ONLY if the big three inDUHviduals also saw fit to put a large chunk of theirs back into the companies.

  4. It sure does say it all doesn't it? From all I've heard, they need to get to bankruptsy so they can reorganize.

  5. I await the next bailout. The Tourism industry?

  6. It's always the workers who suffer, and those working in related industries. Henry Fors knew you couldn't sell cars to workers who couldn't afford to buy them.

  8. It's not the workers fault. They are doing what they're told to do. I, too, am pissed about all of this. The financial institutions were given a blank check, and their execs went to luxury resorts and gave themselves bonuses. They're the ones who got the businesses into this mess and the ones who should pay. This really sucks.
