We heard so much BS regarding Obama and Bill Ayers during the campaign, but little or nothing from Bill Ayers himself. He has spoken out today in an Op-Ed piece in the NYT today and it is worth the read.

I'm glad he wrote this now that the dust, as it were, has settled! If he had said this during the campaign, it would have just caused problems for Obama.

Thanks for posting this. You just wonder how he and Jeremiah Wright must have felt being crucified during Obama's campaign. At least Ayers remained silent. I'm pleased he's spoken out. Bless him.
