Welcome to Ruby Tuesday! Hope you'll join us!
This week was supposed to be red signs, but due to the weather I haven't been able to get out to look for some. So, I thought each of these were signs in their own way.
A Ruby Red Christmas tribute to the men who have given their lives for our country. A friend of mine sent me this photo. I thought it was a good time/place to share it.

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well.
Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.
Peace, peace, and farewell...
Beautiful tribute!
ReplyDeletethat's quite a scene...nice that someone does that yearly...
ReplyDeleteI don't often enjoy tears. But, these felt good. They fell gently on my heart as they rolled down my cheeks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tribute! Such tender and true words.
Thank you Sylvia.
Great tribute to those who had given their lives. Thanks for your visit.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful tribute!
ReplyDeleteGreat Tribute. I remember when I went to Arlington Cemetry and it hit home to me how many brave and beautiful people gave up their lives for their country. Everyone needs to see this - it hits you right between the eyes and through the heart. What a waste of young lives and how many families were impacted forever.
ReplyDeleteSeeing all of those gravesites makes me sad. But also for the loved ones left behind grieving the loss of a loved one. I lost a 21 year old brother in the Navy when I was 17. Probably the reason for my perspective about the family. Now there is even more war than a week ago. God help us all.
ReplyDeleteThat is powerful and humbling.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sobering reminder of the cost of freedom.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photo and words, Sylvia.
Awesome tribute!
