  11. So that's what jasmine looks like! Not what I expected, but I think I was mentally seeing something more like a gardenia. Nice to know, now!

  13. Good choices!

We've had spring blossoms for a while now - Bradford pear trees, buttercups or jonquils all over the place, crocuses, and the dogwoods and redbuds are almost there. We've had some days in the 70's, which make me feel better already.

  14. Oh I love Jasmine and I love any kind of white fowers (lillys are my favourite funnily enough). J for me would be for my gorgeous daughter Jordan, he he. Great pictures too!

  17. I was scratching my head for an "J" and you came up with four perfect "J". Is Jonquil the same as Narcissus? I have a picture of Narcissus (http://graceandbradley.blogspot.com/2009/01/daily-flower-4-flowers-from-chinese-new.html) just like your Jonquil.

  19. Oh .. jasmine! It was always my favourite flower as a child. A small bush grew in the grounds of the London flat where I grew up and I often used to steal a tiny sprig to bring indoors and inhale the exquisite scent.

Sadly, I have yet to find a jasmine perfume which doesn't smell like cat's pee once it hits my skin!
