It's hard to find shadows with the shortage of sun these days -- I know spring is coming! But when???
I caught this as I was going downstairs to the basement. I got caught there last week myself!
Candles in my bedroom.
Plants in the kitchen.
And playing finger games when I could find nothing else to occupy me and I didn't want to leave the sunny kitchen.
I love the fingers!
ReplyDeleteYou're right about having to go look for sunshine: our day here dawned beautifully, then a little while ago it snowed. SNOWED. I nearly cried, but came to you instead. You always cheer me up.
Thanks for the sunshiny photos and wise words today!
I have a hard time leaving my sunny spaces, even in the heat of the summer, neat shadows.
ReplyDeleteThe last shot is very creative!
ReplyDeletelooks like you caught some great shadows lurking about there inside your house!
ReplyDeleteThe sun finally came out here, if weakly. Your shadows are soft and pretty!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great when the sun finally shines? You have photographed some interesting shadows, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteBeing new to photography, I hadn't thought about taking shots of shadows...great idea!!!
ReplyDeleteNow I have to find some sun first...

ReplyDeleteI love the way you framed/cropped these shots. The overall feel of all of these photos is quite dreamy,
ReplyDeleteBTW, thanks for posting the link to the Earth Hour 2009 video. I'd heard about it on another blog, but the link didn't give me much info. It's a great idea. Now, instead of my original plan of moping all night long, I'll at least make something good out of one hour!
ReplyDeleteVery cool shadows you captured, great work!
ReplyDeleteI like your candles and hand shadows.
ReplyDeleteThat was some trip you had to take in your post below!
Nice shadows! Love the finger puppet one, but my fave is the candles. I love the diagonal line of the sun spot there.

ReplyDeleteLike your blog itself, Sylvia, your shadow shots are warm and inviting. Fear not though, we are gaining on better spring weather, but that always includes some rainy, cloudy days here in our neck of the woods. Your raindrops on branches today are dazzling jewels of nature. Thank you!
