I just got an e-mail from my friends in Switzerland and they said the flowers were blooming, but the snow was still in the mountains; just like that lovely photograph. I was there in May one year and those yellow flowers were all over every meadow in Europe. We went up to see the deep snow in the Alps. Someday I may post those pictures.
I too have friends spending a year in Switzerland. I am dazzled by their photos! Lavender is lovely in big and small doses...it is my favorite scent! I look forward each year to the Lavender festivals here in the northwest..
