Here in Seattle we've gone from gray to sun to gray and back again! Always something different, something beautiful.
This one made me think of some other worldly, one-eyed creature peering down at us one evening last week.
Vapor trails were playing games in the sky this day and I love the rainbow colors although I'm not sure where they came from.
And finally an incredibley beautiful backdrop for the Tulip tree!
Hi Sylvia,
ReplyDeleteLove your tulip tree! The pics of the sky are awesome too.

Love those skies, especially the light in the second-to-last: the tulip tree and its blue sky however are a perfect grand finale. Really lovely!
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend is full of blue skies too--happy skywatching Sylvia!
That first one, the eye, is just jaw-dropping! so glad you had your camera handy!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies, it's nice when there clouds and blue together.
ReplyDeleteI was fascinated by those vapour trail - real squares ;-)
ReplyDeleteSylvia your blog never disappoints, I just had to go pour a glass of wine after seeing your post.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

Those are all beautiful shots and the tulip tree is a favorite of mine. We had a problem this year with the tulip trees blooming too early and they got hit by snow. Good to see yours.
ReplyDeleteThe clouds and light in that first one are just amazing!
ReplyDeleteLovely sequence of photos you have here and yes you certainly had someone watching over you in the first one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Beautiful sky changes.
ReplyDeleteLove the tulip.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies and I love that tulip tree.
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is downright spooky! But in the best possible way.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of photos...they are all beautiful skies...the first one is amazing...
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is absolutely stunning, Sylvia. As is the last one. Your photos are always so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI rarely see vapour trails so for me these are terrific. Lovely sparkling light. Tulip tree is very new to me too and what a beauty.
ReplyDelete1st and 3rd are my favourites! Beautiful flower ending too!!
ReplyDeleteSure does look like you're being watched, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteI see the one eye as a bright nose and above it the face has its eyes closed. Perhaps it is sleeping in the shade.
ReplyDeleteThe tulip trees are beautiful. You are blooming Sylvia.
Very nice. Looks like Spring was worth waiting for.
ReplyDeleteStill wish I could steal your first picture with the 'eye' or moon, to pair with my parabola woodcut ...done a long time ago but, none-the-less, an interesting coinicidence that both of them appeared on the same page of my blog last week - as fleeting sky watch imagery tends to be.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding photos.
ReplyDeleteYour first photo looks like a beautiful face blowing the clouds. Good shots.
ReplyDeleteEye!
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if the clouds are watching. :)
Beautiful series again.
The first photo is so unique! All are very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! We saw some great vapor trails Sunday...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteI like the last one with flowers - Tulips.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is truly other worldly. Great capture of something very unusual.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stuff from tulips and vapours...and it´s the comeback of the creepy one-eyed sage!
ReplyDeleteIn Seattle, just wait 5 mins for change in the weather. That first image of the face is amazing. Looks like it's wearing sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteI think that my favourite is the one of the tree. Gorgeous blossoms and fantastic blue sky. Perfect day.
ReplyDeleteLoved the various hues..esplly the last picture
ReplyDeleteSylvia, your first shot is really spectacular. It asks questions and doeas not give out the answers.
ReplyDeleteSylvia: Your clouds are so interesting today, thanks for sharing with SWF.
ReplyDeletethe first photo seems to be one of a kind! have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat first one is pretty spooky! Still lovely though
ReplyDeleteHi Sylvia, thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! :)

I also enjoy your blog! Have a nice weekend!
The magnolia tree is gorgeous! Love those sunny blue skies too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSylvia your Magnolia is to die for, gorgeous. Nice group of shots.
ReplyDeleteThe sky sure changes from minute to minute doesn't it? Nice job!
ReplyDeleteJoyce
Great sky shots this week! That first one is a strange shape and lookslike it wants to gobble up some trees.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. Your photos make me want to grab my camera, run outside, and take my own.
ReplyDeleteThose are all beautiful shots, Sylvia!
ReplyDeleteThe first shot looks to me like the something in sky is shooting down from a great height. Zooming in on you! Very unusual.
