Shadow Shot Sunday!

It's Saturday and time to play with the shadows! Check out Hey Harriet here and join us for the fun!

We've had lots of sun the past few days and have I had fun! And the LILACS are finally showing some color -- as well as shadows!

The back of this chair in the kitchen just got taller and taller.

My mug of tea while I enjoyed the sun on our front porch!

And me -- caught in the strawberry patch! Too early for the berries, but I'm keeping an eye on them!

  16. I love all of these! The strawberry patch photo is my favourite because of the anticipation involved! There is lots of lilac bloooming at the moment, Wisteria too-a very purple time of year!

  18. Nice SSS. It makes me think of a neighbor stopping by for mid morning coffee. The chair is empty but that's the thought it spurred in my head.

  21. Those Lilacs are beautiful. I noticed them flowering here too. Wonderful!
Mmm and that strawberry patch will not be long before it will be very delightful. Guess you'll have to cover it with a net or something for other scoundrels. LOL

  26. I especially like the lilac bush. I always loved lilacs and thought I'd plant some once I had a house and yard ---but I sort of forgot how much I loved them & our yard was already filled with shrubs & trees. In college, a boyfriend went all over town with clippers and stole an armload of lilacs for me. He decided to take only one stem from each bush so as not to ruin any one. It was still stealing, but it was a rather romantic gesture.

  27. Four good ones for the theme, Sylvia! Guess I have a thing though for shadows cast by sunlight through glass vessels like your tea mug. :)
    Have a great week!
