Shadows in the children's garden at the school where I volunteer.
Even the tiniest of flowers leave a shadow!
The pear tree in our yard is all leafed out!
you have a pear tree? I have never seen one. Please show us a pic of the tree in bloom and then with fruit. thanks.
ReplyDeleteLoving the flower pics! Spring has definitely arrived in your area.
ReplyDeleteI always like checking out your fabulous coloured shadows! And I like to feast my eyes on your green garden! Happy SSS.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shadows, Sylvia.
ReplyDeleteThe pear tree I planted when I first moved to NJ was higher than the house. A big storm a while back did it in. Half of it is gone now. Your lovely little pear tree makes a lovely shadow.
Neat shadows - love the pear tree! I remember learning in an Art History class about how revolutionary the Impressionists painters were to put so many colors into the shawdows they painted. Most people, my self included at the time, would have automatically made a shadow black or gray, but they are really just as colouful as the subjects their 'shadowing' if we simply retrain our eyes.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it glorious to be capable of finding the beauty in such a simple thing as a shadow...finally aware!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Mother's Day!
Sometimes, can be exhausted when I see too many shadows.
ReplyDeleteTHis shots are all great shadows. A well done job again.
All lovely but especially the blue green shadow.
ReplyDeletewe have a old, old pear tree...i think it had one pear on it last year...it was my grandmother's tree...i believe the pear was her way of letting us know her spirit is still here.
ReplyDeleteHappy SSS.
