Even the tiniest of flowers leave a shadow!


The pear tree in our yard is all leafed out!

    The pear tree I planted when I first moved to NJ was higher than the house. A big storm a while back did it in. Half of it is gone now. Your lovely little pear tree makes a lovely shadow.

  5. Neat shadows - love the pear tree! I remember learning in an Art History class about how revolutionary the Impressionists painters were to put so many colors into the shawdows they painted. Most people, my self included at the time, would have automatically made a shadow black or gray, but they are really just as colouful as the subjects their 'shadowing' if we simply retrain our eyes.

  9. we have a old, old pear tree...i think it had one pear on it last year...it was my grandmother's tree...i believe the pear was her way of letting us know her spirit is still here.
