I found this on a neighbors fence, lovely flowers, lovely shadows!
Happy dogs, enjoying the shade in our neighbors yard.
The hippo statue at the zoo, catching a nap in the shadows!
And my favorite mug! May you all have a lovely shadow filled weekend!

That hippo is just delightful! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThese are delightful, Sylvia! You're such a treasure! I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Gina
I agree with ladyfi... I want the hippo! But I also love the sun shining through the glass; very pretty. One of these weeks I've got to play this, Sylvia, you make it look fun!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely, every one. I love the shadow through glass best.
ReplyDeleteHey that mug gives a great shadow. You're lucky with all that sun now that summer has started. Over here it is rainy, gloomy and cold. No sun around, had to put on my jacket because it's cold.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
The bubble glass in the mug made a lovely shadow.
ReplyDeleteI had to enlarge photo of the dogs in the shade to try to see what that pink flowering tree and the red flowers in the background were. I was unable to identify them, but they are beautiful.
What a great selection of photographs Sylvia - I love the dogs under the tree - so cool.
ReplyDeleteHigh summer. High sun. And a lazy dog under a tree. Lovely.

Wow! What an eclectic collection of shadows. From flowers to a big hippo! That was fun! Those dogs sure have the right idea. How cute! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't get over those flowers that are dripping down your fence - looks like they have a gazebo that those flowers are growing up - how lovely!
ReplyDeleteyour photos are so good that i have started looking at shadows in a awed perspective! thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Sunday will have one giant cloud shadow. But it is the longest day of the year, so we'll have planty of light anyway.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows. Love the mug. I would also love to have a neighbor with a green thumb whose fence added to much beauty to my poor yard.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shadows!! I wonder what type of plant that is... it looks like it is growing up on a trellis or gazebo. We are doing an addition and will have a trellis along the sunroom and I would like to have a trailing vine for spring and possibly another as well, to bloom in summer.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows! The flowers are beautiful!!
