That's My World - Close to Home #2

This is my second review of some of the lovely things in My World. This is a busy month for me, starting tomorrow when my son, David, arrives from Dallas and on Thursday, my daughter, Kerith, arrives from Santa Rosa. Plus my birthday is Tuesday! So, forgive me for not visiting/commenting on your blogs as usual. But, as Arnold said, I will be back!

This first shot is the Oregon Coast Railroad and a grand way to see that incredibly beautiful area!

The next two are of Lake Quinalt, part of the rain forest here in Washington state!



And this is how the lake looks in the winter.



And this is another shot of that gorgeous Oregon coast! That's My World and I love it!

    I have heard about the heat out there and I do hope August will be a better month for you all.

    I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but my brother has traveled all over this country and he believes Oregon is the most beautiful state. Now I can see why!

    The small train was so Thomas the Tank Engine that it made me so envious...but but what was that lake in winter? It was almost too good to be true! The golden hues and the mist. Too beautiful.

    I love the rail road - a great way to see the coastal sights. There is so much to see and, yes, time is limited (not so endless as it seemed once upon a time) to see such grandeur. Thank you for the beauty presented in My World!
