  6. Thanks for reminding me of de La Rochefoucauld. I never read Maxims, but I have about 25 of his quotes on a sheet of paper on my desk. Your desire to choose such appropriate thoughts for us every day makes these thoughtful people transcend time. E.E. Cummings too had some cool poetry.

  11. I thought I saw Maxine on that beach. She doesn't have any clothes on. In blog land I spent some time at Pikes Market and then went crabbing in Oregon then I went on a real hike here in Ohio.Do you get to Pikes Market often?
