Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out you sleuthing clothes, it's time for Shadow Shot Sunday hosted by Tracy at Hey Harriet! Click here and sign up to show us what kind of clever, different, beautiful or strange shadows you have come up with!

I liked this shot because I got shadows and reflections on the window all in the same shot!

Even a plain, old, everyday stairway takes on a mysterious look in a shadow!

My struggling old ivy was happy for the sunshine, too!

These colored shadows are of empty vases I found and put in the window of my room and they showed up on the side of the comforter on my bed!

  4. Excellent set! I really like the strong contrast in the second one, but I think the last one (the colored shadow abstract) is my favorite.

  5. That's an interesting collection! I like the staircase and all the sunshine you've captured. If you didn't say what the last one was, I don't think I would have guessed!

  6. The shadows in blue and other colors stand out wonderfully. The blob of a shadow from the ivy can be one of many things. Shadows and clouds give us a chance to use our imaginations - at any age!

An dyes the sun can make fantastic shadow ordinary things.

Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face. ---- I will laugh a lot so we do not have to have winter here but summer NOW... MB

Ps. I am happy that you like my shadow

  31. Sylvia - these are great shots - I love using the windowsill too as a place for making the photons (and shadows) dance. When I was in High School I met someone in the library, as I like to say, over near the dictionaries. She made up the word windowsilliness and every time I take (or see) a photo like yours, I think of her. The staircase shot is stunning in its simplicity. Thank you so much for posting them.
