I like your quotes about "finding yourself". It reminds me of those who think they have to go off to ponder the meaning of life. "Yourself" is who you are as you are living your life with purpose and meaning, not looking for it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos and quotes. I think too much emphasis is put on the "me" and "finding myself" in modern day America, and not enough on duty, obligations and giving back to society. Some fathers walk out on their kids, but it's OK, because they "found" themselves (usually in the arms of a much younger woman).
