Veteran's Day - Memorial Day - Remembrance Day - Holocaust Remembrance

That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gem of innocence inside you that makes you want to believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end.

May we never forget!
A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.

  8. Hi Sylvia,
You have compassionately woven vital rememberances from history into this one post on Veteran's Day, despite the actual dates being different. I think showing that the idea to remember "and never forget" makes this a top notch quality (to borrow a Q word from ABC Wednesday) post.
I also noticed more info in the commenters' string like about Polish Independence Day.
