Shadow Shot Sunday!

It's that shadowy hour once again! Shadow Shot Sunday is hosted each week by Tracy at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up and start looking for shadows in your part of the world! Warning! it is addictive, but the most fun ever!

I really had to search and get creative this week -- no sun! But here is that Christmas cactus going nuts a month early even with watery light!

The sun came out for a few minutes right after a windy shower that tossed these maple leaves on the Irish Moss, they were so shiny and wet and they looked as though they were announcing Christmas!

The African Violet seemed to be happy with it's little sliver of sun!

And Sam the Man enjoying some colored sunlight!

  7. I also love the Christmas cactus. Mine is smaller, but blooming already. And it's not even Thanksgiving!

Those red maple leaves on the green moss are lovely.

    It's a dog's (and cat's) life, isn't it?

  8. Sylvia, you have so many wonderful indoor plants! Beautiful! I wish I had a green thumb and could grow some flowers indoors. All I have is a silk orchid plant on the coffee table.

I think I'll make the effort the next time I am at Home Depot.

  9. The table setting is so nice. The shadows are nice, but the bit of sun upon the plant glows in the light, The artistry is in both darkness and light. Sam knows where to relax, and will not be deterred by the shadows - truly a dog's life!
