With not a lot of sun and cold temps as well, I tried to catch what I could inside the house during the few hours of sun that we had this past week! Always a little shadow, a little color if you look hard enough!
Little shadow here ....
Little shadow there ...
Oh, and over there!
Hey, who are those guys???
Ah, remember these days??
Loved the second photo!
ReplyDeletehave a lovely and colourful sunday :)
Love the blue glass and the doggies best of all!
ReplyDeleteI have been too busy to take pictures these days and I miss it. But I may just have to delve into my archives for a good shadow shot this week!
Really like the glass and it's shadow with the view through the window. Have a great day
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me that you can find shadows almost anywhere in your house and on the deck! It is never boring.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have this cold sunshine, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteThe glass was my favorite, too. But I liked the kitchen floor/refrigerator, too! (And who can resist dogs?)
There are always shadows to be found.
ReplyDeleteI tried your colored glass this week.
I like your shadowy collection. No-one would know it was late Autumn/early Winter in your neck of the woods. Super shots!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, when there is a theme, our eyes see things that we will otherwise missed. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLovely selection of photos, for some reason the first one particularly impressed me
ReplyDeleteAmazing snaps Sylvia, you just manage to capture them. I will now look out foe shadows.
ReplyDeleteWhat great shadows. Your dogs seem to be checking theirs out! lol
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
I love the glas in the window!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, but it's the awareness of the little things in life that make me smile...like shadows...
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick a favorite. I always love your colored ones, but the doggie shadows are so cute!
Round The Bend.
Love the last photo especially - such delicate prettiness of those flower shadows! ...and of course thos two fellas! Happy SSS!
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to keep our eyes open for sharp shadows during the winter months, Sylvia! I love your photos! :)
ReplyDeleteFill the blue goblet
ReplyDeletewith burgundy or claret—

The Windsor back chair makes an artistic shadow on the wall. The arc combined with the vertical bars is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGotta love the hounds, their shadows perfectly formed. What a fun furry pair!
I like the sun on the drapes behind the beautiful Christmas cactus.
ReplyDeleteAnd your colored glass shadow pix are always great.
Have a nice weekend ~ thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteI really like that first chair shot - I am going to post some coloured glass shadows just for you next week Sylvia !!
ReplyDeleteLove the first one. Such a fleeting capture!
ReplyDeleteConsidering your lack of sun, you've done so well to come up with such wonderful shadow shots! It just goes to show how creative you are and what a good eye you have! Actually judging by these great shots I'm thinking you have two good eyes! ;D
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing where shadows can be found! Sometimes the most unexpected places are the best ones! These are great!
ReplyDeletelove your shadow pics!!
ReplyDeleteActually, I've forgotten those days. Maybe I should consult my Heffalump.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
JzB the shadowy tromboist
I love the one of the chair and the bottle-that tells a cosy story of a good meal and nice wine-and I love the dog shadows too!
ReplyDeleteThe photo of your window with the shadow on the drapery is quiet and calming. Very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteHappy SSS to you
ReplyDeleteI think it's so cute when dogs look at their shadows.
soft delicate shadows and loud and proud ones as well...cool as always!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are not afraid to show the peeling paint. I like the blue shadow on that.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos - the first one is my favourite
ReplyDeleteLove the chair shadow! And the frost from today's post. Hey, don't let your local Chamber of Commerce catch you saying all those things about the overcast skies al the time! LOL
ReplyDeleteMakes the sun even sweeter when it does shine, doesn't it?
Happy late SSS!
ReplyDeleteI've been busy celebrating! But better later than never!
Have a nice week!
