Ready to play with the alphabet?? ABC Wednesday is a fun meme hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and the ABC team. Click on the icon and show us how well you know your alphabet!! And the letter of the day -- drum roll, please! The letter for today is E!
E is for Evening!
And E is for Eagle!
And E is for Edelweiss!
Great E words and I love the evening shot:-)
ReplyDeleteWish you a nice evening!
In my world E is for EEK there is more snow LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the Eideweiss Sylvia, and the evening shot is to die for!
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture of the Eagle my friend. Well done :)
ReplyDeleteI have NEVER seen Edelweiss before! It is beautiful! Is that growing in your yard (green with envy here)?
ReplyDeleteAnd, that evening shot is breathtaking. Not to mention the excitement you must've felt when photographing that gorgeous Eagle!
Have a wonderful week!
The eagle was captured by a friend of my daughter, Kerith, which she shared with me. The Edelweiss was taken by another friend, but the evening shot was mine. I just thought they made good E words for the day. I should have stated that in the beginning, but I got a little distracted yesterday and at my age that takes a toll on the brain. Thanks for all the kind comments.
ReplyDeleteSylvia
I Envy you that Eagle-shot, but I'll settle for an Edelweiss in the Evening - some time...
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful eagle, and I love shots of the sky.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to warmer evenings, right now it is freezing!

I floated down a 17 mile stretch of the Nooksack river the other day and was excited to find over 8 bald eagle nests. Very fun indeed.

ReplyDeleteWhat a extraordinary combo! Exceptional Es.
ReplyDeleteVery nice findings ! but where did you see Edelweiss ? They are so rare and only grow in high mountains, at least here !
ReplyDeleteYep, those are three 'E's - and pretty good ones, too! I like the sunset, I'm always amazed at how many people get great shots of eagles, and the edelweiss .. it's such a strange plant, isn't it? My Mum had one, once.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset with the trees etched against it. The eagle is stunning but what cruel eyes and beak.
ReplyDeleteI shall be singing the song for the flower all day now . . . ;-)
Enjoy the rest of your week - and I hope all the distractions are happy ones :-)
What a nice evening sky, the silhouette of the trees are very pretty too.
ReplyDeleteThere are hardly any eagles aroound here. It looks so mighty and strong perched on that branch... :P
I have never seen an edelweiss. But I just did. :D Thank you for posting it.
Beautiful shots! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful evening sunset, I feel peaceful just looking at it. Eagles I can never look at without thinking of the Sam the grumpy eagle in Sesame Street, it would be great if they did say something,LOL. Amazing birds, you are so lucky to have so many in your country, and to be able to take great photos.
ReplyDeleteEACH is ELEGANT ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy EVENING Musings
