  5. I have NEVER seen Edelweiss before! It is beautiful! Is that growing in your yard (green with envy here)?
And, that evening shot is breathtaking. Not to mention the excitement you must've felt when photographing that gorgeous Eagle!

  6. The eagle was captured by a friend of my daughter, Kerith, which she shared with me. The Edelweiss was taken by another friend, but the evening shot was mine. I just thought they made good E words for the day. I should have stated that in the beginning, but I got a little distracted yesterday and at my age that takes a toll on the brain. Thanks for all the kind comments.

  32. Yep, those are three 'E's - and pretty good ones, too! I like the sunset, I'm always amazed at how many people get great shots of eagles, and the edelweiss .. it's such a strange plant, isn't it? My Mum had one, once.

I shall be singing the song for the flower all day now . . . ;-)

There are hardly any eagles aroound here. It looks so mighty and strong perched on that branch... :P

  36. Beautiful evening sunset, I feel peaceful just looking at it. Eagles I can never look at without thinking of the Sam the grumpy eagle in Sesame Street, it would be great if they did say something,LOL. Amazing birds, you are so lucky to have so many in your country, and to be able to take great photos.
