Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

All our words are but crumbs that fall down from the feast of the mind.
Kahlil Gibran

Friendship is always a sweet responsibility, never an opportunity.
Kahlil Gibran

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.
Kahlil Gibran

Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.
Rumi

But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.
Robert Frost

We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.

  7. Beautiful skies and water in your shots! And a delightful post on the dahlias.

As for our snow, this was a record breaker in the DC area. We generally get a major snow storm every 5 or 6 years. This winter we had 3. The 60+ inches here in Frederick was more than the total for the last 5 years.

  11. Kahlil Gibran is a favorite. so with Frost. Good words to meditate on. Except for the minute contours of the waves, the seascapes seems perfectly calm and peaceful.
