Time to chase the shadows once again!! Shadow Shot Sunday is hosted each week by Tracy at Hey Harriet. It is addictive, but it is the most fun ever! Click on the icon, sign up, get on your sleuthing clothes and start looking for shadows!!
We have SUN!! The last two days have been gorgeous, almost warm and I didn't know where to start first! Unfortunately, it was a very busy day here and I didn't have as much time to prepare for tomorrow as I would have liked. So, I just ran around clicking on everything in sight -- I'll extend my search over the weekend so I have something for next week -- who knows what the weather will be then?????
Mojo was in hog -- doggie heaven!
The neighbors garage door was just too busy with shadows of everything!
The lilac tree is full of leaf buds and drinking up the sunshine!
And flowers! Blooming!
Mojo caught in a red shadow!!
And Mojo wondering who that long creature is????
I love the flowers, it`s beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWish you a great evening!
Who tells the crocus
ReplyDeletewhen to start blooming? Who laughs
the sun up each day?
Forlorn Shadows
Mojo is a professional sleeper. The shadow of a sleeping canine is relaxing, indeed...I like the trees shadow and fence - the curvaceous tree is a stark contrast of the vertical fence. The garage door has many conflicting shadows, but the light of the lattice leaves little gems of light around. Nice captures again!
ReplyDeleteI'm comin' to your house...it'll be a while before we see the crocus in Iowa!!! Have fun with that sunshine!!! Scratchy's dieing to role in the grass(not snow)!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great array of shadows! Love the flowers - it will certainly be a while before we see that! There is snow (2-5 in. predicted for Monday!! yikes)
ReplyDeleteTake care - have a great weekend!
trees make magic shadows but the bottom photo is terrific.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunshine!!! Isn't that garage door special! What did Mojo make of that strange shadow?
ReplyDeleteI see Mojo was making the most of the sun as well.
ReplyDeleteFurther south the sun has left us, clouds but no rain. Like you, I managed to find a few shadows in our week of nice weather.
Great shots, Sylvia :) Mojo is loving that sun! The sun came out the morning I left TN the other day, and my cat was SOO happy! Great post!

We wonder....does Mojo know he's so famous??!! Love your sun-shiny shadows Sylvia - and flowers...is spring really on its way?? We can't wait to smell the lilacs - so your picture of your neighbor's tree really hits home!
ReplyDeleteHappy Week to you!
Nice shots; I love the crocus! If yours are blooming, can ours be far behind? I can hope!
ReplyDeleteI like the last one - a good shadow! It looks very
ReplyDeletespringlike there. Can't wait to see signs of it here - the snow is almost gone in NYC, but not in places like
Washington DC.
those are wonderful images indeed!
ReplyDeleteFlowers!! Lucky, lucky you!
ReplyDeleteLove the garage door, too. The shadow there looks like some amazing alien plant creature.
That Anais quote is one of my favorites! And that last shadow image is a doozy!

Gotta love that crazy cool red splotchy shadow on Mojo! And you have flowers!?! Yay! So winter must nearly be over. I'm happy you had some sun to play in over the last couple of days. Hope it keeps up. Enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's warming up in your area.
ReplyDeleteI love this quote you posted.
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
