Shadow Shot Sunday!

Ready to find or create or fake some shadow shots? The reason I included faking them is that I was almost that desperate this week as we've had no sun! But I dug some out of my hoard and hopefully you haven't seen them all or you don't mind seeing them again! We'll have some sun again one of these days -- I think???? Anyway, for those of you who don't know about this addictive pastime that so many of us have gotten involved in, it's Shadow Shot Sunday and is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet, so click on the icon and hop over to her blog, sign in and show and share the shadows that you discover!

My favorite turtle family!

This glass looks so plain until the sun shines through it and it takes on a whole new look!

Happy Ducks!

My Mother's Day Hanging basket really spread out the past couple of weeks!

Funny how something as ordinary as a dish rack takes on a new look with the colored glasses.

  3. I wonder why turtles like to do that? I mean, line themselves up on a log like that? Cute little duckies too!
And the dish rack shadow with glass is a work of art! Enjoy your weekend too!

  6. A shadow is art, who gives thought to the world of real and fake - art is art, and you have captured it well! The turtles sit under shadowy reflections that ripple with the currents. Same for the quartet of quackers on the (same??) log. There is only shadowy beauty on land or lake!

  7. There's something so inherently wonderful about a turtle family on a half-submerged log, isn't there... Love the reflections they make too.

  16. You make this look easy and I know it is fun. I even have the most incredible shadow pic that would be great for this, but unlike you I can't focus on doing this stuff every week. It is all I can do to keep up with the two weekly features I run!

  20. People who live in Seattle may be allowed to show us old shadows during a rainy week!! Especially when your pictures are as wonderful as yours. And especially when you share your wonderful pictures and thoughts with us a couple of times a day usually! I really appreciate what you do!
