Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. It does help to have some sunshine! We HAD some!! Ah, well!!! This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up and show us how clever you are!

It was back to gray today so I didn't get all the shots I wanted to and had to depend mainly on my archive! What would I do without something to complain about???? Day before yesterday it was lovely and I headed for the bird Sanctuary as usual and as usual, my turtle friends, a sleepy duck and one upside down duck were waiting for me! Do click on the photos to enlarge, the critters look so much better then!

And a fairly new, young duck put in an appearance, too!

My favorite lounge chair on the deck for reading leaves an interesting pattern shadow, I think.

And, of course, can't have a Shadow Shot day without a toast to color!

  19. I have some great shadow shots and I keep meaning to join this meme, but i have the attention span of a gnat.

I passed up a great shadow shot the other day -- our satellite dish in silhouette on the side of the neighbor's house -- because i was in too much pain to heft the camera. Today I am feeling much better though!
