Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. It does help to have some sunshine! We HAD some!! Ah, well!!! This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up and show us how clever you are!

I'm not even going to mention the weather this week, but I'm sure you get the message! But I still played around anyway -- in a shadowy respect, you understand!

Mojo was dreaming about last summer and wondering when she can go swimming again!

And I was thinking about a sunny, warm deck, a glass of something refreshing and a good book!

I got a new vase for the flowers I hope to have later and in what weak sunlight we had for a few minutes I got this shot and thought the texture of the glass top table on the vase shadow was really interesting! That dark shadow is the folded up umbrella!

And the good, old favorite -- blue!

Have a great weekend!!

  2. Beautiful pink and blue glass Sylvia and the texture of the pink shadow is reminiscent of sandblasted glass.Great doggy shot too.
Hope your weather is warmer than ours and you can enjoy that glass of something and a good book out in the sun.

  3. You have the neatest tinted glass shadows, and the fluting on the blue vase adds an almost watery character to the shadows. Mojo seems so sweet, are you going to allow the pooch some watery playtime??

  4. Mojo looks as if he would bark for sunshine, lol !
We went from one extreme to the other. Last week heating on this week the temperature climbed to 36° (over 90 F) and more ! that's very unusual ! Last time this happened was 1945 !!

I am just now in our summer cottage, we will have 26 - 28 degrees Celsius during this week, our golden retriever does not like it at all, she is walking in the lake but never swim :)
Plenty of sun to you and yours!
