It's hard to believe that fall is on our doorstep already! Where did the summer go??? We've had such a very mild summer here in Seattle and we had a very mild winter last year, so I'm curious to see what we'll have this year. But whatever, there's no doubt there will always be beauty to photograph -- sometimes we just have to look a little bit harder. I didn't have to look harder this week however! Enjoy your week in your world!

ReplyDeleteAutumn might be on your doorstep, but it's still waaaay down the block from mine. But that shouldn't surprise anyone. Not around here anyway.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sequence of shots. The one with the sailboats makes me wish I was sailing there right now. I am ready for fall. I can hardly wait for October and November which is fall here.
ReplyDeleteFabulous collection of shots, very scenic. The colors of the sky are pleasing.
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful pics for sure, but I'm in denial - let there be summer...and until I see the leaves changing, I'm not ready to accept the change of season is close.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors of the sky. It's great world we live in.
ReplyDeleteYour photos inspire serenity, Sylvia. Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the colours, the quieter beaches and the cloud-filled skies where orange sunsets peek through.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes Sylvia but that last photo is just awesome. Autumn is certainly on its way here in Scotland. Thanks for your visit today :) Rosie, CoI

ReplyDeleteThat first photo is stunning, I hope that is not the last rose of summer. Autumn is good but cold winter follows.

Summers last full moon sending its light to make bright this entry of yours. Amazing moon picture. Please have you all a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteYour world is filled with beauty. What a view!
ReplyDeletethe perfect white rose reminds me of 'Beauty and the Beast' , do you remember the old B&W French version with Jean Marais? I saw it when I was about 19 and still am vividly under its spell.
Thank you for your friendship and your concern. Things are looking up a little.
Enjoy what is left of your summer with its pleasant temperatures.

ReplyDeleteFantastic photos & quotes as always. Joy certainly should be unconfined. :)
That white rose is particularly lovely. I do so love Mark Twain. I laughed when I read about not getting enough compliments. How funny!
