That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Click on the icon and share your world with others from all over Our World! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for? You can click on the photos to embiggen and get a better look!

We had such a gorgeous day Saturday, but I wasn't able to get out to take any new shots and it's probably just as well because the harbor and the beach would have been packed and I probably couldn't have gotten anything but pics of the mob and who needs that!!! So, I'm sharing some of the beautiful things that make everyday in 'my world' a wonderful day!

For business reasons, I must preserve the outward signs of sanity. — Mark Twain
If you want love and abundance in your life, give it away.  — Mark Twain

Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.  — Mark Twain

Now this quote I'm still working on  -- you know, the mind over matter stuff! Even though
I agree, total acceptance is never easy!
May you all have a wonderful day in Your World!!

  2. Some of my favorite photo subjects, Sylvia, trees and flowers, ocean and beach...but my heart always does a little jig when I see pet pictures. Call me sentimental, but...
And I know what you mean about accepting one's age. I have a chapter on it (12/27/09). The blog post is entitled "What Do You Mean???" with three question marks but the chapter of the book is "Just Accept it?????" with, yes, five question marks to indicate my absolute horror.

  5. Yesterday one of my neighbours was having his birthday and of course age was an important issue! Therefore I like this quote of Mark Twain:"Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter". — Mark Twain

  7. I love the one about age being mind over matter. I guess I don't mind until I feel it in the aches and such.

  12. I am so with you on the crowd avoidance - I.do.not.do.crowds.

It's also a useful exercise to review our blessings once in a while, so staying home was not such a bad thing.

Have a good week my friend.

  25. You created a wonderful collage and it didn't have mobs of people in it. Like you, I'm going to have to think about that Mark Twain age quote. My mind doesn't think about my age, but legs sure seem to keep it in mind.
