Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty.

It is gray, grim, windy, rainy here in Seattle! So, I had to prowl through the photos for an entry for today.

Good friends of mine in Portland took this at the Wooden Ship Festival and I love it!

Sun on the water, always a favorite!

Always love the colored patterns!

I love green, too! I found these in our basement!

  26. Wonderful photos, Sylvia. Of course I love the wooden ship, it is so beautiful, but the sun on the water is glorious, too. However, I have to admire the pattern in the blue glass and your fabulous arrangement of the green glass to get the shadow in the reflection.

  43. It has been icky, rainy and gray here, too, but yesterday there was a little sun and I used it to play with my new macro lenses. Now, after looking at your photos, I am thinking I should run to my fave second hand store and buy that collection of colored bottles I saw there last week! Great shots.
