Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. We've had a little of everything weather wise this week -- that's the norm here in the northwest though as I'm sure you've guessed by now.
A part of the sanctuary that was empty of it's usual inhabitants, but I thought it was beautiful anyway!
And the harbor, of course, celebrating the end of the day!
I'm always amazed by the complex reflections and shadows, patterns and colors that appear even in the most common places!

Beautiful pictures, as always :) Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteGood ones, all of them. I think the last shot was particularly interesting...loved it.

ReplyDeleteThe last one is my favorite, it's so different and creative.I like the ton of the blue colour inside the shadow reflections, well...brilliant shot!

Beautiful reflections! The first looks like and abstract painting of faces and your sun over the harbour shots are always great.

Hello Sylvia (Konnichiwa Sylvia-san, to take the opportunity to practise my limited Japanese language)
ReplyDeleteGlass makes reflections interesting. They come out in such unexpected ways. Love the reflections/lines of the pond - interesting abstract pattern. Beautiful sunset...
Happy weekend, Evelyn
What beautiful pictures! The reflection the glass casts is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat wine glass looks so mysterious.
ReplyDeleteOMG that last one is just awesome Sylvia. I love that reflection. They all are great. Excellent as usual. Have a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI love the light you’ve captured, a spotlight on the ocean. It is reminiscent of Ansel Adams’ photo of the horse in the meadow in Lone Pine, below Mt. Whitney.
