Happy Thanksgiving Sky Watch Friday!


Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren and me. We've had a little of everything this week in the way of skies and weather. We've had a gorgeous full moon in a clear sky, we've had plunging temps, wind, gray skies and five inches of snow!! It's been a wild ride to be sure! And here are some of our skies!

    Happy Thanksgiving, Sylvia! Your skywatch photos are all beautiful. Is the snow shot the recent snow the new was talking about. Seattle having an early and unusual snow. My favorite is the second shot and I love the moon shot too.

    Happy Thanksgiving, Sylvia! Althought some would say it's less of a happy day for so 45 million turkeys...But keep in mind the word of Tweety as he sad to Sylvester:"Of course I feel sorry for the hungry cat but I pity more the ltweety-bird who is about to be eaten..."

    Great shot of the moon, there. And that snow landscape...*sigh*. We'lle be going to the Giant Mountains in the Czech Republic in february. Hopefully it wil look as nice there as in your picture.

    Lovely skies-- I especially love the moon behind the bare branches. Looks like you got the same snow we did! Alas, my little girls were sad this morning to wake up to a shriveled snowman. I imagine there will be others, though! Love the Mark Twain quotes! I'm excited to read his autobiography.
