That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  As the end of the year draws closer (and the weather remains crappy) I've looked back at some of the really fantastic views of my world!! AND I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Live, Love, Laugh and Enjoy!
Do the best you can, and don't take life too serious.
Everybody is ignorant, only on different subjects.

Everything is changing. People are taking their comedians seriously and the politicians as a joke.

  1. Nice shots of more clement weather than we have had this week. Oh well, as they say, "we need the rain". But does it always have to be all or nothing?

  19. Sylvia, all such beautiful and inviting photos. We were teased with a few hours of sun and blue sky down here in the valley, and hopefully we can have a clear one tonight.

I wanted to be sure and wish you a joyous and blessed holiday season and say thank you for what you do. See you in the New Year. ;)

  25. Ah, yes! Was that blue sky day just yesterday!
I have never really read Will Rodgers and Mark Twain, except for a few of twain's novels, but their quotes are amazing, and obviously, timeless.

  33. I have driven through Seattle so I know a little about how beautifully situated it is but you always manage to photograph it as though for a tourist brochure. Great pictures

Our son and family are arriving today, 5 extra beds etc. to organise in the house on the mountain as well as all else and the Prof's up coming 75th birthday on Thursday. I'm just too old for all the doing at this time of year.

I just long for a quiet Christmas time without stress.

Happy days my dear. I'll just think of your calming sunset.

  36. There can't be a greater contrast between your photos and mine! Yours are showing a much milder scenery than my snowy photos. I like yours very much and the one with the red moon ( or sun?) is stunning! I have never seen either of them. Your qoutes are to the point. I shall quote the one about everybody's ignorance often, but then in Dutch.

  37. Sylvia, gorgeous shots. I especially love the water shots. The scenery is just beautiful. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  38. I think you've made lemonade out of your lemons, Sylvia... and sweet it is! Have I told you how much I like your Holiday header? What a nice and talented friend you have! I hope this holiday season is what you'd want it to be, Sylvia.

  39. Sylvia, I can't ever decide which I enjoy most: your lovely photos or the pithy quotes that accompany them. So I guess I'll have to have two favorites.

Best wishes and happy new year!

PS Isn't it amazing how relevant Will Rogers is to the present state of politics in the US?

  40. Hi Sylvia;) what STUNNING photos of different scenes, I keep going back and looking again. This is the first time I hear of Will Rogers, and love the sayings! Thanks for another year of being part of memes such as this one. May you, your husband and precious family and pets have a wonderful Christmas. Greetings from Jo, South Africa
