    Beautiful reflections - both the visual and the words! Thanks for your comments on my posts from SC. Our skies tend to be clearer in cool weather - a nice change from thehot and hazy summers.

    Tsuki, I'm not a big fan of zoos either, but for some animals it's a last chance and in the end it may be the only way we're able to save many species. The zoo in Seattle does try to create as natural a habitat as possible for the animals -- very few "cages".

    i agree. i always associate penguins with happy thoughts. the only bad penguin i know is batman's nemesis, but then again, he also made me smile.

    Growing up in Ohio and living in Columbus; home of the zoo, jack Hanna was a household staple so I loved your reference to him...
