MicroFiction Monday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the link under the title to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.

This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting.

And here's the picture for the day!

Akihiko, the "large glory"? You do live up to part of your name! Umbrellas won't
make it though! You're not even fit to rule the kitchen!

And from my friend in Mumbai!!

You right handed crook! My sword is stuck on the left. Never mind. Destroy the umbrella. But you won't get the Iphone. I'm sitting on it.

  2. Mwahaha...Sylvia, we both must've googled "Japanese male names" and picked the same name from the A-names list, as they came up first! "Large glory"...I love it. He definitely over-ate during the holidays!

  12. Don't knock the umbrella... one of my hubby's favorite Kungfu heroes, Wong Fei Hung, can do wonders with a traditional paper umbrella. Have a look at the "Once Upon a Time in China" movies ;-)

  14. The big guy does look somewhat misplaced! I wonder what he relies on in the kitchen?

  16. I love this entry Sylvia, nice work researching a name! I sidestepped that by setting mine in a suburban living room.

  30. Got me considering a name change, although I'm not translating it for anyone. LOL

There's a moral to the 2nd one, I guess: always sit on your iPhone. Must make talking a bit difficult though.

Thanks for two smiles this morning.

  32. I would have thought the chefs battle with chopsticks. Considering his belly, Akihiho would win hands-down!
