MicroFiction Monday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the link under the title to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.

This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting.

And here's the picture for the day!

Dignified, proper, framed in gold, first politician in her family! He'd been
found in a creek with his throat cut. Easier then than now!

138 Letters

And from my friend in Mumbai!!

International Womens' Day, tomorrow, and she finally did in death what she couldn't, in life... Run away from him. With the gold trimmings.

  6. How sad and tragic. YOu could have a field day spinning that web. Fits really well! I'd read the book.

  7. Oh dear. Wonder if he owned shares in the company building the dam.

  8. Love that gold frame.

As to your comment in my blog about needing another box for Cinders. It's actually 2 small book/utility boxes of 3 shelves each to make a total of 6 cosy cubby holes for the kitties.
So far, it has never been full house, max occupancy is 5. Have a photo of it somewhere.

  10. Great job. At least he died quickly. Now political death is by a thousand cuts.

Oh wow, great MF. Very very clever and unexpected.
I was away this past weekend and just got back
Had to come over and ready your story .

  18. The standard this week is phenomenal. Both of these are top-notch (and I like this dark side of yours, Sylvia! Perhaps because I'm still recovering from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?)

Your new header is beautiful, as always.

    Have a great week.
