Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the link under the title to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215. This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting. And here's the picture for the day! |

Oooh...ZZZing!! I haven't seen this side of you before, Sylvia. :^)
ReplyDeleteI sense something dark coming. Good one! Have a great week.
Ouch! That's not an easy ending.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that's a little gruesome! But he does look like a politician, definitely.
ReplyDeleteHo, what did you say? I endorse it!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an episode of Law n Order. Nicely done Sylvia,
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful week.
How sad and tragic. YOu could have a field day spinning that web. Fits really well! I'd read the book.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Wonder if he owned shares in the company building the dam.
ReplyDeleteLove that gold frame.
ReplyDeleteAs to your comment in my blog about needing another box for Cinders. It's actually 2 small book/utility boxes of 3 shelves each to make a total of 6 cosy cubby holes for the kitties.
So far, it has never been full house, max occupancy is 5. Have a photo of it somewhere.
International Womens' Day, tomorrow, and she finally did in death what she couldn't, in life... Run away from him. With the gold trimmings.
ReplyDeleteDifficult one ............
ReplyDeleteGreat job. At least he died quickly. Now political death is by a thousand cuts.
ReplyDeleterings so true!
ReplyDeletePerhaps the cut improved him!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, friend.
Short and sweet, but tells the whole story. Nicely done. Mickie
ReplyDeleteNow that was a great ending.
ReplyDeleteTerrific. I enjoyed them both.
ReplyDeletegood one Sylvia!!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly where you're coming from
your friend from Mumbai also created a powerful piece
well done
Woa, Sylvia... Too dark for that wonderful spring banner-LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh if only we could get rid of politicians as easily these days! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth so good, if a little worrying;-)
ReplyDeleteSylvia;
ReplyDeleteOh wow, great MF. Very very clever and unexpected.
I was away this past weekend and just got back
Had to come over and ready your story .
...and I love the header. I love the way it changes!
The standard this week is phenomenal. Both of these are top-notch (and I like this dark side of yours, Sylvia! Perhaps because I'm still recovering from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?)
ReplyDeleteYour new header is beautiful, as always.
Have a great week.
Two great takes from you and your friend, Sylvia! We writers sometimes come up with tales that even surprise ourselves, dont we? Loved these...LOL!
ReplyDeleteLynette
