It looks as if spring is arriving in your place too ! I love the quote "The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live". That's so true ! but a long way until you finally get it !
ReplyDeleteI love your thoughts. Life is about creating yourself. You have created a place of peace and beauty here today. I am glad I stopped by.

Have a nice and happy week, Sylvia****
Very nicely done Sylvia! I'm always eager to see what photos you've posted on your blog. I'm never disappointed.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics Sylvia. I love the Elbert Hubbard quote. One has to start from where one is, every day.
ReplyDeleteI know so many people who are so busy working hards that they forget to live.
The moments captured in these photos are the ones that make you realize what a great gift life really is!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. Made me stop and say, "AH!". Where are you moving from/to?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and a lovely way to start the week.
ReplyDeleteYour part of the world is beautiful, very scenic.
ReplyDeleteHow I would like to be 'beamed up' and dropped there for a walk :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your photo's and sayings as always Sylvia. Have a good week
ReplyDeleteGreat walk!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one of the animated dog at the edge of the water. I think he is the midst of shaking off some water after a swim or perhaps he is sniffing the air. And I like the effect of incorporating the photograph into a picture frame. I thought you already moved, Sylvia, but now realize this is too lengthy a process! I’m sure it will be great to settle into your new home. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and wonderful quotes--but when aren't your posts just that! Mickie
ReplyDeleteLooks like good weather for walking outdoors.
ReplyDeleteI love the last image with that beautiful tree.
I really enjoy your series of photos...adding a border makes the photo stand out more btw. Really great job!

ReplyDeleteI've started work on my new "Sunday Scans" meme, hopefully I can get it live in the next couple of weeks and try it out, see if there's any interest in that type of meme.
I love your world. Plain and simple. Thank you, friend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place you moved from, Sylvia, and I love the quotes, especially Thomas Jefferson's. I hope your new surroundings are equally as beautiful! Is it a 55-and-older gate-lock community?
ReplyDeleteI loved today's quotes!

ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to be in fall, but it is getting cold. The same way, we lost our spring, we reckon we will lost fall too, and head staright to winter.
Can you imagine me going to work in the morning in a jacket I wore last winter?
Your pictures are magnificent and I love all quotations!

«Louis» disagrees with the first quote. The best way is to crawl back into bed, pull the covers over you and say fugetaboudit......
ReplyDeleteI think the dog picture is my favorite. He is really "soaking" in the sea! Favorite quote is Thomas Jefferson's. What wisdom!

ReplyDeleteHi Silvia, lovely scenery and great quotes. I like the doggie singing or his he just getting the drops of water from his fur. It looks so spontaneous.
