Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Victor Hugo

Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his twin brother.
Khalil Gibran

  1. Pavel Friedman's "I never saw another butterfly" poem is poignant in that it has survived the awful treatment of the poet but with those written words Friedman's spirit lives on.

  4. I heard the other day, "One should not focus on their lack of faith but should focus on the One who is faithful" or something like that - Sorry it sounded way better when I heard it. :-(

  6. It seems to me that the skies of white clouds and dark clouds reflect one’s wavering thoughts between faith and doubt..., and I believe soon the dark clouds will be cleared out. The beautiful sunset is consoling and promising. Thank for you sharing, Sivlia.

  7. Great pics and great quotes. Faith and doubt are great subjects that we all struggle with.

We are having torrential downpours down here now but my month long sinus infection is finally getting better.
