That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  Well, it will be the end of the month before Sam and I can move as the paperwork wasn't sent to Corporate until every required document had been received. After delays, phone calls, faxes we finally got it all together on Thursday and hand carried it to the complex!  I did get to see the apartment again and it's even better than I remembered it! So, it'll be worth the wait!  And here are those lovely things in my world right now!
Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.

These two shots are from the arboretum a couple of weeks ago. I'd like to sit on this bench in the sunshine and just soak up the beauty!!
There ought to be one day - just one - when there is open season on senators.

  3. Oh, what luminous tulips you have captured, Sylvia. The sun has cast a magic glow amid the colorful glass goblets, vases and paper-thin petals. And I enjoyed Wayne Dyer’s quote, in particular. I think it is true. Also, it's always nice and somewhat a surprise when things look better than expected. :)

  36. Your quotes are right on! Will Rogers, Mark Twain and others understood human nature and politics. Thanks for your comment on my tax post. Even though our taxable income went up,
our overall Federal tax is less than 7% of total income. I am not complaining about that, just the way IRS makes you get to the pooint of writing a check.

  40. «Louis», a big fan of Winston Churchill, enjoyed seeing your quotes from Winnie. We never learn, do we? Churchill's quote about the appeasers is as appropriate today in the face of radical Islam as it was in his time against Naziism....
