That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  As I begin preparing for the big move I've been looking back over the past four years since I moved to Seattle and here are a few of the lovely memories I will take with me! My children, the ocean, the harbor, incredible trees, and so much beauty everywhere!
Happiness is itself a kind of gratitude.

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
William Arthur Ward

I think I've given the wrong impression -- I'm not leaving Seattle, just a different area and I won't be close to the water, but I do have gorgeous views of Mt. Rainier!! I'll still have plenty to take pictures of!!!

  23. What beautiful photos these are, Sylvia. I feel your enthusiasm for your new "digs" and also your reticence to leave the water views you have now, but I'm thinking that this will be a good move in many ways. Have a great week, my friend. I wish you sunshine!!

  24. My goodness, your friend is so prolific with your new headers that I only had a subliminal glance of the last one where I could not access comments, before there is a one one of Sylvia the photographer.

I finally got to your comments on the 4th. try!

  39. "Happiness is itself a kind of gratitude." So true, and I'll keep it in mind all the time, and will express my gratitude.

Each picture is the reminder of your happy moment which you're grateful to during the four years, and you'll make another sweet memory at a new place in Seattle. Moving to a higher ground is a good choice, I think.

    Take care, Sylvia.
