Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

Sam and I have gotten pretty well settled in and as soon as we did, the rain and gray returned!! But I got a few shots -- my messy desk in the office, colored glass and lace in my bedroom, beautiful tulips on roof and Sam the day before we moved. Then yesterday I was sitting at my desk and glanced at the roof of the apartment building across the street and there was seagull sitting there and looking as though he was checking me out and I managed to get a shot -- through the window!!
There are always flowers for those who want to see them.

And a very Happy Mother's Day!!

    I HAD A LITTLE SHADOW
    (With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)

    I had a little shadow
    No bigger than my thumb;
    I took him to the meadow
    And there I gave him rum.

    My drunken little shadow
    Did weave and bob and pitch;
    He stumbled from the meadow
    And fell into a ditch!

  3. Near Puget Sound, I guess all shadow hunters, or those tired of gray skies must take advantage of any and all sun that graces the day. The sunny day allows to to enjoy the wonder of Spring, stay outdoors and capture it all digitally!

  13. Hi Sylvia,
    Glad you are settling in, & thanks for the glimpses into your new home. I must say, though, that if your desk is messy, then mine is beyond help!
    Also, that seagull is looking for a handout, and is sizing you up for a donor, I think!

    Thanks for the visit, and have a wonderful weekend!
