Unfortunately, my eagerly anticipated trip to the waterfront last Wednesday was covered by our usual GRAY skies!! But, I had a great seafood lunch at Ivar's and was joined by a number of seagulls looking for handouts!!  There were pots of colorful flowers everywhere, but they did tend to get somewhat lost in the fog! But it was a fun day out anyway! The last two shots were taken sitting at my desk in the room I use for my office -- and Sam's bedroom! As you can see, day or night, my world of beautiful skies is always merely a glance away! I love it!!! 

Message from the seagulls

Places bordering water ,
and
some bordering land,
Chain link fences :
separating,
those
that peacefully
sail through life,
enjoying
the company
of sometimes similar folks,
and those that
trespass
and cause trouble
in places
they shouldn't
be found in...

The bird of peace,
flew in
to urge the other
to vacate
the chair;
you didn't occupy
something meant for others....

The erring bird
agreed,
turned right,
and took off.

Unlike, some,
who trespassed ,
stayed put,
presumably hidden,
were warned,

and were finally shot away.
