Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!! More lovely, sunny days and I thought I'd show you what a difference a few days can make in the tree shadows I shared with you last week! Hope you all have a very Happy Father's Day weekend!! Enjoy!
Find beauty not only in the thing itself but in the pattern of the shadows, the light and dark which that thing provides.

  2. Your window sill, no matter where you live, seems to provide you with intriguing and captivating shadows week by week!

    I ONCE HAD A SHADOW

    I once had a shadow—or did it have me?
    My shadow and I could never agree.
    I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
    Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
    Refusing to speak to her anymore—
    So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
    I have not seen her from that day to this—
    That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!

  3. I like your new home - the views out are very nice! Obviously, shadows emanate from all over. The bottle, blinds and plant add a complexity yo the white wall. Happily, the shadows of glass in many colors are lovely, too. A wonderful shadowy week has passed, and we hope yours next week is as well!
