Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

It's actually been rather easy to find shadows this week as summer tiptoes shyly, reluctantly, slowly into the northwest! Believe me, I'm not complaining about our temps in light of the weather grilling the rest of the country!!  But the sun here has been lovely!  Wishing you all a wonderful weekend with lots of love and laughter and fun -- but stay cool!!

    The trellis on that lovely deck adds linear shadows, while the potted flora natural ones. A fine day in your neighborhood!

    My friend's son was in Oslo on the way to the airport from the center of the city where the horrible bombing happened. Lucky guy, he's safe and back home in Helsinki...

    The flowers are so lush and pretty. Glad you found some sun so you could get a few shadows. I think we're in the same corner of the country - not a lot of sun, and everything is one big shadow (until today!).

A sleepy conscience" kind of worries me (I don't really think Mark Twain's WAS sleepy, but I am afraid mine might be -- as I decided I'd rather blog than read the paper this morning, b/c of all the disturbing news. (And thank you for not having a sleepy one too -= and for mentioning the NOrway tragedy.)
