That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?

I didn't get out a lot this past week except for a trip to good old Trader Joe for the weekly groceries! Most of the trips were to the casinos and I don't gamble. But I did want to share a couple more pics from the wonderful nursery we went to last week, a big part of my world -- son, David, here for a brief visit and Sam!! And, of course, our beautiful skies/sunsets.  Hope you all have a great week with lots of love and laughter and beauty!!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain.

  6. There is so much wisdom in the quotes you provide. They are as prolific and multi-layered as the flowers in the nursery and much-needed reminders. And what a nice picture of your son, David, with Sam. Looks like the family pet gets the best seat in the house. :)

  21. Trader Joe's! I love that place. The smell of coffee, even though there is none there to drink, just makes the place feel like home, and it makes the prospect of making good food feel good. Said the lousy cook.

Thanks for treating us to these awesome photos. You have a wonderful eye!

  30. Epictetus was a pretty wise man, and I expect you heed him, Sylvia. I know I do. How nice your son gave you a handsome smile... even the pooch posed for your camera! That's a fair sized nursery, wonderful, and your skies are always fabulous.

  32. Wonderful lush nursery photos and I love the pic of your dog and your son.

Wonderful quotes. Learning to live with what you got is my takeaway on them.

I hope that things are going well. I hope they have outings to some place besides casinos. I don't know about yours but ours you need a gas mask to enter they are so smokey.

  39. Sounds like a nice week! Your pictures are great as usual. What a beautiful nursery, I bet it smells great even with all the fertilizer. I've always liked Trader Joe's at least as far back as my teens. I missed shopping there while I was away from California but now there's one a little over a mile away. :)

    Have a wonderful week!
