Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the address under the post title to be taken to the SWF website where you can sign up.

This post is dedicated to the memory of Klaus Peter.

Rest in Peace. Thank you for the beauty and the joy!
Our constitution protects aliens, drunks and U. S. Senators.  Will Rogers

If you look really closely at this first shot you'll see some very little black dots -- not any junk on my lens, just a lot of crows looking for fun!!

There ought to be one day -- just one -- when there is open season on senators!  Will Rogers

All Congresses and Parliaments have a kindly feeling for idiots, and a compassion for them, on account of personal experience and heredity.

  4. Ahh, you are kind of hard on our lawmakers today Sylvia. They certainly deserve it and worse. Nice to hear though that they hadn't changed much since the days of Will Rogers and Mark Twain.

  24. Not only are your photos beautiful this week, your quotes are superb. You have to be the “BESTEST” at coming up with the quotations. I will never be able to come close to you and the ones you post. Like the crows...there were a bunch of them. Today on the way home from school I saw 2 different flocks of birds doing all kinds of contortions in the air. Sadly I had to drive so could not shoot them. genie

  47. Klaus will be greatly missed, Sylvia. Although my contact with him was limited to some back-and-forth commenting, he was always very kind, supportive and helpful. I wish we had been able to meet him, but we haven't been to Florida since I started blogging.
