That's My World!

Saturday was a beautiful day and we finally got to the Bellevue Art Festival. I'm not a "crowd" person and the first look at all the people sent me scurrying over to the park about a block away and it was as peaceful and beautiful as ever; the trees fuller and greener. There  was  a colorful, fun, hot air village for the kids to enjoy  -- and they were! I finally got myself together and went back to Festival and did some people watching as well as checking out a few of the exhibits. Mostly, I watched the people and there were some great subjects!! I got lots of giggles!! I'll share some more of those with you later!

And in light of our recent political debacle, I thought you should know about another change that does seem appropriate! My 89 year old friend sent this to me today! She does get some good ones!!


The government announced today that it's changing it's emblem to a CONDOM, because it more accurately reflects the government's political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of dicks, and gives you a sense of security while you're being screwed.

    The hot air 'Disneyland' looks so cool! Kids must love it. On the other had, the rabbit on the bike looks scary! LOL!

    Sylvia, I am the same way as far as dealing with crowded places. But, I do enjoy walking around these kinds of festivals. The arts and crafts can really be unique. Great photos, have a wonderful week.

    Love the painting in the second to last photo, Sylvia. It reminds me of a European village, actually. Your artist friend the does the headers outdid herself this time around. Perhaps it is the warmer weather or her art but I now have a strange craving for a fruit salad. :)

    I got sidetracked by the CONDOM which I sent to a number of other friends who appreciated it too.
    So, now i'm back to to your post. Love the hare and penguin but especially the hare. I shy from crowds as well but am glad you braved them to get those super shots. Thank you.

    Here it feels like we are missing out on spring not yet having finished winter and have jumped right into summer.
