| Time for "Our World" again! This is a wonderful way to find the beauty, the fun, the good and even the bad things about Our World and to share them! Hope you will join us! Click on the link to go to the Our World site and sign up!! http://ourworldtuesdaymeme.blogspot.com/ Can't believe it's the beginning of another new week!! The older I get, the quicker the time flies -- not complaining mind you, flying time is better than the alternative of "no more time"! And after the anniversary of 9/ll yesterday, it was easy to find the wonders of my part of Our World!! We have such beautiful beaches and mountains, wonderful parks where you can walk, run or just absorb the beauty! And we have some of the most interesting malls! This one doesn't look like a mall at all! I mean, how many of you come face to face with a large, cocky rooster like this guy on any of your shopping trips??? And, of course, there's Mt. Rainier, mysteriously wrapped in clouds! May your week be a wonderful one with lots of love and laughter and beauty! |
Time moves in one direction, memory in another. William Gibson |
Be happy. It's one way of being wise. Sidonie Gabrielle Colette |
Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind. Lionel Hampton | |
| If we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living. Gail Sheehy |
If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Maya Angelou |
At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us. Albert Schweitzer |

Oh Sylvia, that little hillock is so grand in the slanting light. Looks like you had a little outing, that rooster certainly is not in your rooftop garden. A beautiful post as always and I see you finally made it on the cover of Life magazine . . . congratulations.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and enjoy the full moon.
I love the quote that says happiness is one way of being wise. Also your headers are getting more marvelous as time goes on. How appropriate to see you in that moon shot since many of us have been enjoying the beauty of the full moon from last night to this early morning. :)
