Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

We're still enjoying beautiful weather and I'm loving every minute! It looks as though we have another week before it begins to cool down a bit. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

  3. Hi Sylvia ! I hope I didn't offend you in a way or another, since I did see you coming on my blog for quite sometime. If it is the case, don't hesitate to write me to explain what is wrong : I feel quite bad about it, and I don't know what I did wrong.

But anyway, I'm posting this comment not for me but for you...

Nice set of pictures this week again, Sylvia... I really enjoy your shadows catches, specially the colored glasses ones : I think it is a great inspiration indeed.

  5. Ho ! I'm so sorry to learn about this health problem, dear Sylvia... That is quite a coincidence too, cause I was just explain to James that sun is dangerous even for pets...http://somethingsighted.blogspot.com/2011/09/hot-dog-trying-to-stay-cool.html

I feel relieve that you are back on your feet (well back on your hands, on the keyboard, I'd have to say :D )

Web relationships are not always easy, because you feel close to people even if you don't know them or don't know what is really going on with them...

    Anyway !

I'm glad to see you back.

  9. You give us a creative mix of reflections today, Sylvia. An awesome sunset... keep enjoying your warm weather! I'm hard pressed to limit being a fool to five minutes a day, sad to say. LOL! But best are your beautiful smiles in that magazine in your new header! :-)

  16. Fun shots, Sylvia - I finally get to see you taking a photo in that last one! It cooled off suddenly last Friday here, with the sharpest thunderstorm of the summer (almost an inch of rain in 15 minutes, and lightning that was frightening, even to me). By the way, that new header is absolutely classic! Have a great weekend!

  19. What a grand finale that last shot is! Sylvia, with so much sunshine streaming in through your windows, have you ever thought to hang some prisms n our windows and have your room dancing with rainbows?

Thank you for your good wishes, they seem to be working. This last week had no major dramas and things are going quite reasonably at the moment.

I have employed our grandson to cut our lawns and the grass in the entrance yard f the farm. He needs the money for petrol (it's a long drive to the uni. Approx. 80km) and the Prof flatly refuses to bestir himself for anything. This way, everyone is happy.

  25. Hi Sylvia...been running like crazy and afraid I've not been by as I should. Hoping "life" settles to a better pace soon. Maybe I should look at the lead in image for a bit; it's so peaceful. I always love your colored glass near the window shots-but I like this bottom one. I kind of wish you'd put more of yourself in, but I like seeing the scene. Have a wonderful day.
