| Time for "Our World" again! This is a wonderful way to find the beauty, the fun, the good and even the bad things about Our World and to share them! Hope you will join us! Click on the link to go to the Our World site and sign up!! http://ourworldtuesdaymeme.blogspot.com/ We've had some gray, chilly mornings and some rain, but we've had some sun and blue skies, too! Still, it is time for flowering plants to come inside for the winter, the leaves on the trees are turning brilliant colors and the sun sets earlier in skies that appear all too ready to say goodnight! I had posted the leaf last night, but so many commented about it I thought I'd add it to todays post. I found it on my way home from the store yesterday and the colors were so incredible that I couldn't leave it lying in the street! Hope you all had a great week! Enjoy! |

Have a nice and happy week* Hugs ***
That little Acer palmatum dissectum is a real joy as are all of your photos. You see one single red leaf and you know it is fall. Your windowsill would make anyone happy. A perfect place for African violets.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a most colourful week!
Fabulous..!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos, my friend. and another fun banner. So much warmth and good feeling here. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful display. The red is terrific.
ReplyDeleteYes, so much warmth and good feeling here! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI like your colorful window sill display. A few fresh flowers just brighten everything up!
ReplyDeleteI really like the quote with the leaf. I need enthusiasm in my life. When I don't have anything to look forward to, life is a little dark and drab.
Grey days here in California, too. Closed the cabin (sigh) for the winter. We were a bit late as we had to shovel a foot of snow off the deck before we could begin the chore.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and your quotes Sylvia. Beautiful blog.
ReplyDeletethe first shot here is my favorite, i am wondering if these plants are real 'coz they do look real to me. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Sylvia -- the perfect leaf definitely deserved a re-run.
ReplyDeleteDelicious autumn colors. As always the pictures of your window are beautiful, and never miss a beautiful sunset. I wish you a happy week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures ! In my part of the world the trees are still green and the flowers still fresh. I think we will go from "summer" to winter right away !
ReplyDeleteI could imagine the whole tree filled with this burnt red color!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is, I love your header today. And I agree, the sense of humor. The senior surfer should have a good balance!
Your little window ledge is such a delight! And I adore that leaf parading such bold colours!
ReplyDeleteHi there - what a great leaf and the red bush as well. Fall with you must mean spring with us - but it's still cold here! Lit the fire again tonight.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Australia
Your colours won't be seen downunder in OZ for another 6 months - so it's great to enjoy them virtually!! LOVE your header ...
ReplyDeletethey are just lovely Sylvia. The quotes as well as the pictures.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a colorful fall in your world.
ReplyDeleteSylvia, you must have a green finger, your plants look beautifully healthy! What gorgeous yard, is it a red Maple Tree?
ReplyDeleteJM, it is a Japanese Maple and the colors are awesome!! Thanks as always for stopping by! Enjoy your evening!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
What a lovely shot of your window sill...beautiful plants and objects on display. Love the red leaf and the prominent red foliage in your second photo. Wonderful quotes too! I'd rather have wrinkled skin than a wrinkled soul!
ReplyDeleteSylvia,
ReplyDeleteIn your photos, the red is so expressive and impressive! The third one is especially lovely. Your beautiful autumn is getting deeper than the autumn in Nara. All of them are so exquisite!
Best wishes,
keiko
