One of the things I love most about being a part of Our World is that each week it gives me the opportunity to realize how blessed I am to be surrounded by so much beauty and so many good things!
Well,  this hasn't been one of my better weeks, but if you take the time to look around the chances are good that you'll see something that will take your breath away or make you smile. I did and it works!! So, I thought I'd share some of it with you today.

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.
Rabindranath Tagore

True happiness is... to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon
the future.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I actually caught this one a couple of years ago when we had an unusual amount of snow for Seattle.  This is truly a pissed off seagull! But he did then and did today -- make me smile!

If it were not for hopes, the heart would break.

  17. Makes one long to be a bird entering your photography, while flying towards the mountains of your first picture, which is just wonderful.

  23. Hello Sylvia, may you be fully blessed this Christmas Season, full health, wishes, happiness, contentment, peace, etc! That sounds really all. Your 2 photos look like the views from our hotel in Antalya, Turkey, across the Mediterranean. It is so awesome for me as that was my first time to see ice caps. I posted Turkey today, related to Father Christmas. Thank you.

  32. I am so sorry about your week my dear. I do hope really nice things happen for you over Christmas and things generally start looking up.

I tried to leave a comment this morning but the box refused to co-operate. Now I am bushed after a day's shopping for presents . . . what a day!

Have a very Happy Christmas, enjoy every minute!
